Introduced in June 2005, the ProCurve Routing Switch 9408sl was brought to market as a cutting edge advanced traditional core solution delivering enterprise-class high-performance, high-density, secure and multilayer switching/routing. Due to the relative age of the 9408sl and the introduction of these and other newer platform solutions, ProCurve Networking ended the sale of the 9408sl on December 31, 2006.
