Step 1: Register and Complete Training and Review Exam Prep Guide

Select the sales or technical certification tracks you wish to achieve. Download or schedule the recommended training, prerequisites and review the related Exam Prep Guide. The Exam Prep Guide will review the sample questions and pass score information. The training classes are not a requirement to achieve this certification but are highly recommended. Training course descriptions and links for schedules are located under the Training tabs. Exam information and Exam Prep Guides are located under the Certification tabs.
Step 2: Apply for a HP Student ID

You will need an HP Student ID so that exam data is properly tracked. For information on how to obtain an ID, click here.
PLEASE KEEP TRACK OF THIS STUDENT ID. This ID is your unique identifier to track HP training classes and exams you take. Any use of an incorrect HP Student ID could result in failure to achieve your certification.
Step 3: Register for exam

To achieve an HP Certified Professional certification, you are required to pass specific exam(s). There are two different exam types within the HP Certified Professional Program. Each can easily be identified by their exam ID key. Exams with an HP0 prefix (e.g. HP0-758) are proctored exams delivered at worldwide Prometric testing centers and exams with an HP2 prefix (HP2-013) are web-based.

Note: Prometric testing system requires a “Prometric User ID” in addition to the HP Student ID you created in step 2. If you already have a Prometric ID, please add this in the field when registering. If you do not have a Prometric ID, leave this field blank and the system will automatically create one for you.
Step 4: Pass the certification exam
(Recommended)
Once you have passed the certification exam, your test results will be sent to the HP Certified Professional program office in your region. When you have passed all the required exams, the certification will be automatically awarded to you. You should receive an email with confirmation of your certification in 1-2 weeks with the certification document arriving in 2-4 weeks.
MASE ProCurve Networking Convergence Certification
Complete 3rd party certification: HP ProCurve MASE ProCurve Networking Convergence certification requires that you have achieved a 3rd party certification. You are required to fax the certificate to the HP Certification Program office. You can review the 3rd party certifications and get the fax number for your region on this web page: www.procurve.com/network-training/certifications/mase/convergence.htm
