Product End of Sale Update

The ProCurve Switch 5300xl Series 5372xl/5348xl/5308xl/5304xl 10/100 Bundles and Empty Chassis will only be available to customers until December 1, 2008 or “While Supplies Last”. The sale of the ProCurve Switch 5300xl Series 5308xl-48G and 5304xl-32G was ended on March 1, 2008. The ProCurve Switch 5300xl Series products have provided customers with scalable Layer 2, 3 and 4 switching in compact 4- and 8-slot modular form factors with affordable 1G connectivity since 2004. Due to the availability of expanded software features and enhanced switching capabilities in our current ProCurve Switch 5400zl Series products, ProCurve Networking by HP is announcing the End of Sale of the ProCurve Switch 5372xl/5348xl/5308xl/5304xl & 5300xl Series Module products.

The ProCurve Gigabit 1000Base-T Mini-GBIC (J8177B) has been available for sale since April 2005, yet due to improvements made such as the capability to run at 100 Mb/s speeds with the new ProCurve Gigabit 1000Base-T Mini-GBIC (J8177C), ProCurve is announcing the rollover from B-to-C of the ProCurve Gigabit 1000Base-T Mini-GBIC on September 1, 2008 or "While Supplies Last".

The ProCurve Access Control Server will only be available to customers until September 1, 2008 or while supplies last. The ProCurve Secure Access products have provided customers with a modular approach to unifying wireless and wired mobility, enabling network managers to easily deploy edge-enforced access control on existing 5300xl switched networks. The ProCurve Access Control Server 745wl, working in conjunction with the ProCurve Switch xl Access Controller Module has provided a specialized, highly secure wireless access solution for demanding client environments since 2006. Due to constantly changing business needs, ProCurve Networking by HP is announcing the discontinuance of the ProCurve Secure Access products listed below.

In addition, the ProCurve Switch xl Access Controller Module will only be available to customers until December 1, 2008 or "While Supplies Last", after the discontinuance of the ProCurve Access Control Server 745wl.
